extends StepDelegate

StepFactorys are responsible for instantiating StepElements; the interface encapsulating the execution logic of a an SFC step.

To add a new type of step, you'll need to register a StepFactory with the GatewayStepRegistry.

StepElement create(ChartContext context,
                   ScopeContext scopeContext,
                   StepDefinition definition)

Create a StepElement as defined by definition.

Parameters:

context - the ChartContext this step will execute in.

scopeContext - the ScopeContext provides access to the chart and step scopes. The step scope will be reset for each activation.

definition - the StepDefinition.

Returns:

a StepElement instance.
